feeling less than sartorially inspired these days, so am turning to last week's photos from the brooklyn museum show for a little bit (okay, a lot!) of vintage beauty.

I really love those Hawes and Hentz dresses. The arrow on the Hawes dress! What a great show--I missed out!

they just don't make them like they used to!!! love these images and jealous that you didn't get yelled at for snapping shots at a museum! in boston it's a big no no!

sami.: I think flash-free photography is okay in most nyc museums...we're lucky, I guess!

Here's a lesson for the 80s, that Hentz dress is how you actually make a butt bow work. Looove it.
