he's been cutting perfectly tailored suits for decades for the most stylish men out there (including the michael jackson tour never to be). mw's wedding suit came right from martin himself.
there's so much to be said for the old school way of doing things and just like a well made vintage dress, there's no comparison to buying off-the-rack.

nice! if you and mw haven't seen this doc yet, you should definitely check out Jack Taylor of Beverly Hills. The man I'm named after used to be the head taylor and made almost all of Jack's original patterns which are still used today.
My grandfather was a tailor and that image of the scissors reminds me of of his favorite pair that my mother still has - heavy and worn, but still capable of cutting so beautifully...
And, so, yeah, there is so much to be said about the art of the old ways... :)
